How to to configure PC and Counter-Strike by Na`Vi.Markeloff

A lot of people ask us about our Counter-Strike 1.6 players configuration and PC performance settings. Today we've finally decided to reveal the secret and to show how it really looks like. To do so, we simply filmed Yegor "markeloff" Markelov preparing for the official match. The video was recorded at DreamHack Summer 2012 tournament and features the actual configuration our player uses.

If you like the video, please share and also let us know your feedback. We plan to continue the initiative and record other Na`Vi players doing game / PC / software configuration with detailed descriptions and explanations. To sum it up, simply write what would you like to see and we will definitely do it for you! ;)

fnatic win DreamHack Summer 2012

fnatic vs Na`Vi

(16-11 on de_dust2, 7-16 on de_train and 16-7 on de_mirage).

Second map de_train kicked off about an hour after de_dust2 ended and saw Michael "Friis" Jørgensen score four knife kills to allow fnatic to start as counter-terrorists. fnatic scored a flawless pistol round win outside with Jørgensen getting two frags in tower followed up by Na`Vi's save round. Round three saw Sergey "starix" Ischuk and Ioann "Edward" Sukhariev combine two each to win and a close two-on-one win in the next round forced fnatic to save.
Round six saw Jørgensen illegally crouch look under the walls in six lane as fnatic tied the game at three. After that it looked like Natus Vincere's returned in-game leader Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko figured the opposition out as the best team of 2010 scored six straight rounds to put them ahead 9-3. fnatic came back at the end of the half to score the last three rounds to keep them in the game but six rounds as counter-terrorists is by no means what they were looking for.

fnatic rushed the lower ramp to the inner bomb site on their terrorist pistol round but despite of two early kills by Rasmus "Gux" Ståhl, the Ukrainians had no trouble retaking the site. Third round saw an ineffective push towards the inner site that was quickly shot down and Natus Vincere kept winning rounds until Yegor "markeloff" Markelov's three kill, ultimately unsuccessful one-on-four attempt that saw Ståhl miss out on an easy kill on him. That didn't phase Natus Vincere though as they won the next two rounds to win de_train 16-7 and even out the series.
It all came down de_mirage where it was Na`Vi's turn to start as counter-terrorists following a successful knife round. Once the game went live fnatic attacked the A bomb site on the pistol round and scored a win, similarly to their earlier de_mirage match in the group stage. Na`Vi had solid save rounds once again, but ultimately went on to lose both while getting four kills. Arseny "ceh9" Trynozhenko scored four kills in the fourth round.

Markelov's crew won the next round as well but then lost four in a row before they could rebound and score two rounds on their own at 4-7. With Teslenko getting two frags on the twelveth round it looked like the Ukrainians were poised to win another round, but Richard "Xizt" Landström and Jørgensen won a two-on-five situation to force Na`Vi on a partial buy. Teslenko pushed deep into the halls and scored two early desert eagle headshots but fnatic once again prevailed with Ståhl getting three and Jørgensen calling Trynozhenko's bluff in the one-on-one. fnatic went on to win the final two rounds of the half as well, pushing their lead to 11-4 after multiple close calls that they were able to grind out their way.

Natus Vincere's pistol round was quickly shut down and they were facing a 4-13 deficit after a save round. Down in a three-on-five situation next round, Finn "karrigan" Andersen and Landström took risks by pushing out and died, giving the Ukrainians the advantage and they won the next round as well forcing fnatic to save. It looked like round six was going Na`Vi's way too with 20 seconds on the clock but Andreas "moddii" Fridh scored four huge frags after a Ukrainian miscommunication confused Ischuk and gave fnatic a 14-7 lead.

Next round went to fnatic easily as well, and a broke Na`Vi attempted a desert eagle strategy towards the A site in the final round where Andersen cleaned up in the end to crown fnatic DreamHack Summer 2012 champions 16-7, 2-1 overall.

Na`Vi markeloff: Don't want to play CS:GO

In our second interview ahead of DreamHack Summer 2012 we talk with Yegor "markeloff" Markelov from Natus Vincere, touching about the trip and experience playing Counter-Strike: Online in the K1 League, as well as the upcoming tournament in Jönköping.

CS:GO Issues

Game Design Issues:
  • - Changed QUICKMATCH default to competitive de_dust2.
  • - Added new maps to local match options: de_inferno, de_train, and de_nuke.
  • - Added new weapons: Nova shotgun, Bizon and MP7 SMGs.
  • - Created a CT-specific version of the Molotov: the incendiary grenade.
  • - Reworked starting cash and bonuses in Casual mode.
  • - Made kill cash awards weapon-specific: AWP pays out $50/kill ($25 in Casual Mode). CQB weapons pay out $900 ($450). The rest pay out the usual $300 ($150).
  • - Limited total number of grenades that can be carried at one time to three, each of a different type.
  • - Adjusted stamina penalties for jumping. It should be easier now to jump up to multiple objects in a row without getting exhausted.
  • - Changed weapon recoil cycle to be controlled by a recoil index which is incremented on each shot.
  • - Reduced movement penalty greatly when players are hit by friendly fire in casual mode.
  • - Implemented skill-based matchmaking system.

Map Issues:
  • - Reduced dust particle effects on de_dust and de_dust2. Initial dust fades out after about 20 seconds.
  • - Updated the nav mesh on de_Dust to improve bot pathing.
  • - Corrected the problem with the bomb being plantable below the ledge on bombsite B in de_dust.
  • - Fixed multiple issues with players being able to get to positions that should be inaccessable or non-visible in de_dust and de_dust2.
  • - Fixed problem with black lines appearing around helicopter in de_dust when helicopter is shot.
  • - Fixed several aesthetic issues and reported exploits on de_dust2.

Stat/Achievement Issues:
  • - Fixed a problem with the fun facts that could cause a claim of more than 100% accuracy for players.
  • - Fixed a bug that allowed players to earn the 'Lost and F0wned' medal while controlling a bot.
  • - Added FCVAR_CHEAT flag to the bot_kill command so it can't be used to earn medals
  • - Updated some medal icons and descriptions to reflect criteria for getting them better.
  • - Made players who controlled bots during a round ineligible for fun facts.

UI Issues:
  • - Fixed classic crosshair not showing up in first-person spectator mode.
  • - Fixed a bug that could cause chat spam when a player changes his/her name.
  • - Redesigned and repositioned the win panel to allow greater visibility of the game.
  • - Hid voice status and weapon panel when HUD is hidden.
  • - Added option in game settings that, when active, closes the buy menu upon purchase of an item.
  • - Redesigned the buy menu.
  • - Moved player team ID from crosshair to player.
  • - Expanded the chat window, making it easier to keep track of chat history.
  • - Changed the UI font for greater legibility.
  • - Made the chat lines behave like a Windows edit control.
  • - Added a scoreboard icon that indicates when a player is in the process of switching teams.
  • - Made music respond to volume slider.
  • - Made chat box disappear after ENTER is pressed.
  • - Fixed the 'pop' visible when the main menu appears when playing in 4:3 or 16:10 aspect ratios.
  • - Added COUCH and DESKTOP play distance options that control hud_scaling and viewmodel_fov convars.
  • - Fixed problem with not being able to switch from windowed to full screen mode.
  • - Removed crosshair spreading behavior when wielding the knife, grenades, or bomb.
  • - Made scoreboard title display correctly above scoreboard in standard def.
  • - Redesigned front-end screens, layouts, and scoreboard to reflect new look for CS:GO.
  • - Improved the messaging for when money is awarded or subtracted. HUD now shows additions and subtractions more clearly, and money events are also reported in chat.
  • - Fixed menus to render correctly in resolutions greater than 1920x1200.
  • - Fixed a bug in which the scoreboard could occasionally disappear.
  • - Added player avatars to the choose team screen.
  • - Fixed problem with UI tint resetting after the choose team screen was opened via the pause menu during a game.
  • - Fixed EDIT and CLEAR buttons on the settings screen sometimes not appearing correctly.
  • - Fixed bug in settings with the acceleration amount slider not resetting correctly when defaults are restored.
  • - Fixed incorrect audio feedback when mousing over empty rows in the settings screens.
  • - Fixed bug that could occur when binding keys in the settings screens, making it impossible to navigate away from the currently active field.
  • - Made the EDIT MIC option in the settings snap to the correct area of the controls screen.
  • - Fixed a case in which throwing a grenade or dropping a weapon and picking up another failed to display the new weapon on the inventory section of the HUD.
  • - Disabled left and right toggles on spectator UI when there's no one left to spectate.
  • - Added a separate icon for the CT-specific knife in the weapon select and death notification text.
  • - Fixed a bug in which remote players controlling a bot were showing up alive again on the mini-scoreboard instead of showing the bot as alive.
  • - Restricted team chat to team members only.
  • - Fixed some problems with the REBUY command that could result in purchasing items other than what you had purchased in the previous round.

To get 100 fps lock

Settings :

  1. Graphics card Setting:
  • I am displaying with examples of nvidia display driver you should have similar options in ati cards or any other gfx card.
  • Ok so first step is to open nvidia control panel from nvidia icon in task-bar by right clicking on it and choosing nvidia control panel. You can do the same by going to control panel and opening it from there.
  • Now Choose "3d settings" option from the nvidia control panel. After that choose "adjust image settings with preview" don't worry if you don't find that option the important point is you have to edit 3d settings.
  • Then choose "use advanced 3d settings " and click on take me there as shown in figure
  • Choose Global Settings tab and then choose texture filtering option and select high performance from drop down list as shown in the figure below. This option is most important as it will cause sharp rise in your fps.
  • choose Vertical sync option and select force off ,Also turn the anisotropic filtering to application controlled (as it is not allowed to be turned off in tournaments) and anti aliasing to off. One more thing if your graphics card is dual display card then choose hardware acceleration to single display performance mode. Apply these settings and move to game configuration part.2. Configuring Counter Strike/CS1.6 :
  • Configuring start up options and launch parameters:
  • Right click on the shortcut to your game and select properties then in the target field append the parameters -noipx -sv_lan 0 +heapsize 250000 +sys_ticrate 1000. For example "C:\Counter-Strike 1.6 + Half-Life\hl.exe" -game cstrike -noipx -sv_lan 0 +heapsize 250000 +sys_ticrate 1000" and in case of steam append it after the -applaunch 10 parameter.
  • Now launch the game and open the console by pressing '`' character and type fps_max 101 and after that r_decals 300 , rate 25000 , cl_updaterate 101 ,cl_cmdrate 101 . because they must match your fps rate for better registry.
  • Now go to video options and select open gl mode with resolution of your choice, i personally use 800*600 resolution.

That's it you should get 100 fps (hovering around 99-100). Do post your comments in case you find this post helpful or encounter any problem .

Walle's Tutorial

 Sniping Guide

Heard of Walle's sniping tutorial vids?? Hey will give u a good idea of how to fastzoom, or nozoom, and what he calls a "Spawn jump"

Its good to improve your shots, but if you wanna know how to snipe and not get shot, you need to learn stealth. YOu need to know where the enemy will peek out from, and how you can see him before he sees you. A sniper shouldnt be all alone, someone should be around to give himbackup if needed urgently, a sniper is weak in close combat, unless he is a pistol god.

Do you know 2nd shot nozoom is very accurate?? What i mean is, if you miss the first shot by a small distance, and you know how far your aim was from the actual enemy, you can move your aim at him while the gun retaliates while keeping the attack1 buton pressed, and when the gun fires 2nd time, it dosnt zoom, but tehe accuracy is as good as when you are zooming.

Learn to hide behind walls from where you can peek easily and also escape incase of a sudden ruhs towards you. Its a must for a sniper to be good as pistols as well, as that is his last resort if someone sudenly comes up close and there is no time to run.

More to come.......

Coll right now!
Adios! Hope this helped a bit, if anyone has aything, plz add!

Well 2 be a good sniperist,u need 2 hv a good idea abt enemies' straffing.U hv 2 be in complete stealth at the time of takoing ur shot.Ny good opponent can easily kill u if u miss ur 1st shot.So be very much cautious.N in close range, sometimes u need 2 take ur shot without zooming.Well it totally depends on practicing more n more.It depends on the assumption tht ur gun ponits towards the enemy.Dont practice too much with scout. It ll affect ur Magnum Sniper skill.

Weapons in CS 1.6

Pistols

The pistols are the cheapest guns in the game. They are a player's secondary weapon, and usually are only used in pistol-only rounds; at the start of the game when nobody can afford larger guns; or when ammunition supplies for the larger guns have been exhausted. They are only semi-automatic, and typically lack power, but can be quite effective if aimed carefully.

 Glock 18

Glock 18
  • Price: $400
  • Country of origin: Austria
  • Caliber: 9mm parabellum
  • Magazine capacity: 20 rounds
  • Weight (loaded): 0.3kg
  • Projectile weight: 9g
  • Muzzle velocity: 1932 feet/second
  • Muzzle energy: 475 joules
  • Special traits: Can be fired in 3-round burst mode
The Glock is low-powered, but accurate. It is the default terrorist starting pistol, and is dirt cheap, but is often not particularly useful unless you are very accurate. If you have a fast finger, buy this gun or join the terrorist team for a free gun. In some versions, this has an unlimited fire rate. If your finger is not so fast, use bursts and go for headshots.

USP tactical

USP tactical
  • Price: $500
  • Country of origin: Germany
  • Caliber: .45 ACP
  • Magazine capacity: 12 rounds
  • Weight (loaded): 1kg
  • Projectile weight: 15.2g
  • Muzzle velocity: 886 feet/second
  • Muzzle energy: 553 joules
  • Special traits: Can be fitted with a silencer
The USP is the default counter-terrorist starting pistol, packing a greater firepower into a similar size and weight. The added advantage of being able to silence the USP means that counter-terrorists often have an advantage in pistol rounds (i.e. at the start of a new game when nobody's got any money).

 P228

P228
  • Price: $600
  • Country of origin: Switzerland/Germany
  • Caliber: .357 SIG*
  • Magazine capacity: 13 rounds
  • Weight (loaded): 1.03kg
  • Projectile weight: 8.1g
  • Muzzle velocity: 1400 feet/second
  • Muzzle energy: 600 joules
The P228 is a small pistol, with average attributes. Many players choose the Desert Eagle over it, as the prices are quite similar, but the P228 is a decent choice if you need a pistol. Its accuracy is around average, but it is more powerful than the USP.
The P228 has a higher rate of fire than the Desert Eagle, a larger magazine, and it only takes about five shots to the chest to kill a target. You can't snipe with this like you can the Desert Eagle though, and like all other pistols it does not penetrate walls. Learn to use the strong recoil of the gun to increase your ability to hit a target and increase the chances of getting a head shot (it deals over 100 damage to the face). It may have a faster firing rate than other pistols, but its unexceptional middlingness make it mostly a curiosity or a niche gun.
  • Note: The P228 is only chambered in 9x19mm and appears to be a P229 which is offered in .357 SIG.

Desert Eagle

Desert Eagle
  • Price: $650
  • Country of origin: Israel
  • Caliber: .50 Action Express
  • Magazine capacity: 7 rounds
  • Weight (loaded): 1.8kg
  • Projectile weight: 19.4g
  • Muzzle velocity: 1380 feet/second
  • Muzzle energy: 1650 joules
The Desert Eagle (or "Deagle") is the most powerful pistol, being able to kill somebody with one headshot. Its magazine is rather small (only 7 rounds), so accuracy when using it is quite important. Most players will choose a Desert Eagle if they're buying a handgun (and have the money).
If you crouch and pick your shots you can snipe with this pistol and get headshots from ranges that most people will think they're safe during pistol rounds. The bullets also penetrate players and walls, which despite its magazine size, can make this gun shine in close quarters and in forcing foes out of hiding. It is by far the most versatile pistol and probably the best buy in the game, dollar for effectiveness, which is why it's the most popular handgun for advanced players.

FN Five-seveN

FN Five-seveN
  • Price: $750
  • Country of origin: Belgium
  • Caliber: 5.7x28mm
  • Magazine capacity: 20 rounds
  • Weight (loaded): 0.618kg
  • Projectile weight: 2g
  • Muzzle velocity: 2345 feet/second
  • Muzzle energy: 465 joules
  • Team: Counter-terrorists only
The FN Five-seveN has high accuracy and a large magazine, but is lacking in power. Its very low weight does not affect the running speed with the pistol, as all pistols allow the player to run at the same speed (250 units per second).
Good weapon if used correctly, but with this gun the trick is to stay away from close range fights (except if you are sure you can get 2-3 shots to the head). Compared to the dual Berettas, it's weaker and has a lower rate of fire, but better accuracy and low recoil compared to other pistols. Perhaps a good companion gun to a shotgun or close-in primary weapon.

Dual 96G Elite Berettas

Dual 96G Elite Berettas
  • Price: $800
  • Country of origin: Italy
  • Caliber: 9mm parabellum
  • Magazine capacity: 30 rounds (15 rounds on each pistol)
  • Weight (loaded): 1.15kg
  • Projectile weight: 8g
  • Muzzle velocity: 1280 feet/second
  • Muzzle energy: 606 joules
  • Team: Terrorists only
The Berettas are not particularly useful apart from the fact that there are two of them, which doubles the firing rate over a single pistol. They have poor accuracy, and only average power, so are best used as spray weapons (and with considerable success in some cases). However, due to their high price and poor attributes, it's best to go for a cheaper pistol, or a sub-machine gun instead, unless you practice a lot with them, in which case they can actually perform better than many SMGs.
Practice makes perfect. Once you become proficient with these you become a very formidable force. You can also buy these during the first round of a new map, which will give you a significant advantage in terms of magazine size. Headshots are key with this gun.

Friis vs Anexis

fnatic Win FCL

fnatic win over Anexis:

16-10 de_mirage
16-11 de_train
fnatic won  in the FCL grand final

The series started on de_mirage where fnatic successfully attacked the B bomb site four times until Anexis managed to get their foot in the door and score five consecutive rounds. fnatic shifted their attacks towards A and won the next six rounds to make it 10-5.
Second half started with Anexis winning the pistol round followed up by two save rounds from fnatic won won round four. Next round and fnatic's eco went to the Danes to make it 10-11, but fnatic woke up and won five straight rounds to win the map 16-10.
On de_train Anexis won the pistol round but fnatic's glock eco round came down to a one-on-one. fnatic used the money advantage to win round four and the three rounds that followed before the Danes got their dual AWP setup running and scored five straight rounds. fnatic came in the end though, winning three straight gun rounds despite of Nicolas "Nuggi" Larsen ending up at a score of 24.
fnatic won the pistol round and round two but Anexis' outside attack proved successful on round three. A forcebuy from fnatic won them the next two rounds before the Danes won two of their own. At 11-11 it seemed like anyone's game, but fnatic switched to a higher gear and won five rounds in a row to win 16-11 on de_train, 2-0 overall.

                          Prize money of FCL
                1. fnatic - $2,500
                2. Anexis - $1,000

counter strike great ace

        which ace is wow?

                                 OR

Hostory of counter strike(cs) 1.6

At one point, Counter-Strike 1.6 was the most popular game on the Internet.  Released in 1999, it was one of the most popular games of its day, surpassing even the Battlefield, Unreal Tournament 2003 and Quake 3.  It was the most popular Half-Life mod.  As game developers released the next generation of games, Counter-Strike began to lose popularity despite the massive gaming culture surrounding it.  The game had less and less casual players and more and more league players (CAL, CPL, CEVO, CEGL, WCG, OGL, etc.).

In 2004, Valve released Counter-Strike: Source, which introduced more casual players to the game, while the seasoned veterans still stayed with Counter-Strike 1.6 and they saw it as the better game.  Over time, new players of Counter-Strike: Source improved their game, while some CS1.6 veterans migrated over.  Many stopped playing simply due to the fact that they played this game for a long time and just lost interest.  A lot of professional teams such as Team3D, compLexity, SK Gaming, and others migrated over to source.  As more and more teams migrated over, the popularity of CS1.6 waned.  Do people still play Counter-Strike 1.6?
I felt a little bit of nostalgia toward the game, so I opened it up to play a little bit.  I played this game for about 8 years on and off (2001 to 2008 inclusive) and participated in a couple leagues such as CAL, CEVO, and CEGL. The last time I played, the community was still pretty strong – I could find a game pretty quickly and play.  Not anymore.

Public servers are almost extinct.  Most public servers that remain are good.  Not that there is anything wrong with that, but there is no point in joining any of these games.  They are filled with bots.  I looked at the detailed game information and it shows 19 players that all “magically” joined the server at the same time and have been playing for some ridiculous amount of time.  Playing 306 hours of Counter-Strike and earning a score of 10000+ is not possible for a human.

Out of curiosity, I joined one of  servers.  It turns out that these servers just redirect me to an actual server where people play.  The downside is that these servers are actually in India, which means I that pinged > 200 to the server.  A minute later I am kicked for going over their ping limit.  I still can’t play.  At least there still is a community for CS1.6.

Cheats/hacks

  cs 1.6 Cheats/hacks

Counter Strike has been a prime target for exploitation by cheaters since its release. In-game, cheating is often referred to as "hacking" in reference to programs or "hacks" executed by the user.
  • Wallhacks allows players to see through walls. These work by displaying objects that are normally obscured or by replacing opaque game textures with translucent ones. As the engine only renders the immediate area around the player, this does not allow a player to see the entire level at once.
  • Speedhacks give the player increased foot speed. These work by sending false synchronization data to the server.
  • Recoil hack removes any recoil (and thus improves accuracy) from a player's firearm.
  • No spread is used to remove the random deviation normally experienced when the player shoots. This is similar to the recoil hack.
  • Aimbots help the player aim at enemies, by auto-targeting other players. These work by using the game client library to calculate an enemy player's 2D coordinates from 3D space and automatically moving the player's mouse to the enemy target.
  • ESP shows textual information about the enemy; such as health, name and distance; also information about weapons lying around the map, which could be missed without the hack. Most ESP cheats show info through walls.
  • Barrel hack depicts an enemy's gaze as a visible line, this is also visible in the killcam.
  • Anti-flash and anti-smoke remove the effects of the flashbang and smoke. Implementation is derived from the wall hack.
Valve has implemented an anti-cheat system called Valve anti cheat (VAC). Players cheating on a VAC-enabled server risk having their account permanently banned from all VAC-secured servers.

With the first version of VAC, a ban took hold almost instantly after being detected and the cheater had to wait 2 years to have the account unbanned. Since VAC's second version, cheaters are not banned automatically. With the second version, Valve instituted a policy of 'delayed bans,' the theory being that if a new hack is developed which circumvents the VAC system, it will spread amongst the 'cheating' community. By delaying the initial ban, Valve hopes to identify (and ban) as many cheaters as possible. Like any software detection system, some cheats are not detected by VAC and at times, the only effective anti-cheat solution is a human administrator watching an online game. Some servers implement a voting system, in which case players can call for a vote to kick or ban the accused cheater. VAC's success at identifying cheats and banning those who use them has also provided a boost in the purchasing of private cheat These cheats are updated frequently to minimize the risk of detection, and are generally only available to a trusted list of recipients who collectively promise not to reveal the underlying design.

Note:

First thing to do : remove mouseaccel
Accel has an impact on muscle memory..if you leave the game for ..say a week..you may not be able to quickly get used to the game again..it makes your play inconsistent tbh..i played with accel for 5 years..still after removing it..i feel much better..the only reason i dont play flash games like missionred or aim400 kg is that mouse sensi is a bit different ingame in comparison to windows..so it damages mm..

Anexis to meet fnatic in FCL final

                         Anexis vs SK Gaming       2-0

                                                   16   -    14                                 de_train
                                                   16   -     8                                  de_mirage

Nuggi and Zanoj are key players from anexis with :
Nuggi 34/17 in de_train
Zanoj 26/12 in de_mirage

DETAILS:

Action started on de_train where Anexis played a great counter-terrorist side with Nicolaj "Nuggi" Larsen leading the way by acing the pistol round as they jumped to an early 10-1 lead. Robert "RobbaN" Dahlström's calls were not working at all although Marcus "Delpan" Larsson scored multiple entry frags and Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg turned a one-one-four situation to a one-on-one with about six bullets in five seconds.

Larsson scored three frags in their second half pistol round win but Larsen one upped him by scoring four kills on a glock eco to shift the momentum back to Anexis. SK won round three to bring it back, but Larsen's team fought back to bring them map point at 15-9. SK fought back all the way until the very last round, but Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer won a one-on-two situation to win de_train 16-14.

Anexis won the pistol round on de_mirage as well but lost SK's second round buy which led to both teams trading rounds until the very end of the half when the Danes pulled slightly ahead with a 9-6 lead with Jonas "zanoj" Velling leading the way with a score of 24 by the end of the half.

The Danes went on to win the pistol round as well but Johan "face" Klasson's USP heroics gave SK some hope. Anexis proved they were the stronger team once again as terrorists however, as the Swedes kept fighting back but simply didn't have it in them to stop Anexis who went on to score seven rounds and win 16-8 overall.

BEST COUNTER STRIKE 1.6 MATCH EVER.......

Fnatic vs AgaiN – Counter-Strike 1.6 – World Cyber Games Finals - 2009 – Chengdu, China

.
In 2009 Swedish team Fnatic had taken the community by storm, coming through with the most dominant performance in a year with what was considered the most competitive year in the game's history. Led by Patrik 'cArn' Sattermon, MVP Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg and rising star Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund swept every major event that year including Season 3 of the Intel Extreme Masters (beating AgaiN), ESWC 2009, and World eSports Masters 2009. They earned a then-record breaking $153,122 in prize money.

This led upto the 2009 World Cyber Games, one of the last events of the year, and an event that the Fnatic organization had never won in it's history. Many believed this to be the year for that to happen. Polish team AgaiN, who had the same lineup together for many years, was looking to become the only CS team in history to win two WCG titles, having won the 2006 finals in Italy. AgaiN, led by their superstar Filip 'Neo' Kubski, had been slumping all that year with disappointing results, but were known to step it up in big moments. This was one of them, as China's love for eSports extends past Warcraft 3 to all genres, setting up an extraordinary shot of people watching the final game in the main hall, spilling outside the doors where screaming fans were crushed together. What transpired is one of the most memorable games in CS 1.6 history.

Fnatic and AgaiN embark on one of the most legendary Nuke games in history. With Fnatic on matchpoint 15-11 (16 rounds to win) and AgaiN low on money with only enough for two of their players to buy, AgaiN executes some beautiful teamwork to win four rounds in a row and send it into overtime. Both teams would trade round after round, each coming through in the clutch. They forced the match into four overtimes. With the score 27-26 in favor of AgaiN, fnatic's GeT_RighT had a large health advantage over a 20 health LordB. GeT_RighT would lose his second crucial 1 v 1 moment of the match, giving AgaiN the win. They would go on to win the second map 16-12, and take their second WCG title. Fnatic has never won the World Cyber Games
